Earthquake Relief

In light of the earthquake that decimated Haiti on January 12th, 2010, ICC is in the process of dealing with the numerous needs of displaced earthquake victims. Thousands of people are living in the 13 slums surrounding Grace Children's Hospital. These  “tent cities” are breathing grounds of sickness and disease, and ICC is responding to the medical needs of these people. Within the months and years that lie ahead, ICC’s Relief and Reconstruction Office will be implementing and overseeing additional medical programs, trauma counselling sessions, vaccination outposts etc.   The earthquake recovery program is one that is geared toward restoring health and wholeness in these communities and transitioning survivors to a more “normal life”.
